Assistant Restaurant Manager C&N Recruitment are working with a boutique hotel/ restaurant based on the out skirts of Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire recruiting for an assistant restaurant manager. The restaurant offers a seasonal changing menu which is inspired from the kitchen garden and local suppliers. The restaurant offers British class ics with a refined touch. The role of the Assistant Restaurant Manager will involve: Management of the venue so that all guests receive excellent standards of customer service. Meeting and greeting guests. Leading shifts, including training, and motivating the team. Achieving budgetary targets and making recommendations for development. Liaising effectively with the Head Chefs regarding menus and upcoming bookings. Dealing with customer queries and issues. Monitoring rotas daily Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene Requirements for the Assistant Restaurant Manager: Candidates must enjoy being a hands-on member of a team. All applicants must have a flexible approach to their work and be willing to work the hours required of the business. An excellent standard of presentation is essential. Our managers work a variety of shifts, on any 5 days from 7, on any day of the year.
