Accountant – upto £45,000 negotiable Hybrid role - Based between offices (London) and working remotely Salary - £38,000-45,000 negotiable Visa sponsorship – residency or work permit required for this role. Visa or relocation support is NOT offered for this role Role Description: Our client is a family-run accountancy practice dedicated to providing personalized financial and advisory services to our valued clients. They cover all aspects of tax and accounting and serve SME's, charities and individuals. As a Practice Accountant, you will be an integral part of the team, delivering exceptional accounting and financial solutions to a diverse client base. You will have the unique opportunity to work closely with clients, understanding their individual needs and offering tailored advice and support. You will foster growth, both professionally and personally, while contributing to the success of clients and the practice The role involves: Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements with meticulous attention to detail and compliance Maintain client accounts through accurate bookkeeping, reconciliation, and data entry Prepare Year End Accounts, VAT returns, Monthly Payroll Submissions, Self-assessments and Corporation tax computations and returns Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their accounting needs Conduct insightful financial analysis to assist clients in making informed decisions Collaborate closely with colleagues and clients to identify areas for process enhancement and operational efficiency Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations to ensure clients receive accurate and up-to-date advice Train and support junior members of the team. Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required: Proven track record as an Accountant within an accountancy practice or professional services organisation (essential) Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong analytical skills (essential) Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines (essential) Qualified Chartered Accountant (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Sound knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards Proficiency in using accounting software and the MS Office suite Solid customer management skills and well-rounded accounts experience Benefits: Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on experience and qualification/s) and potential for performance-based bonuses Hybrid working (at least 1 day at clients offices and at least 1 day at company’s offices, plus flexibility when working from home) No management hierarchy, you will manage clients directly and report to the practice owner Opportunities for professional growth and potential to make this role your own Family-oriented, collaborative work environment fostering a sense of belonging Exposure to a diverse array of industries and clients, contributing to your well-rounded skillset Apply Now If you closely meet the criteria and are a dedicated and motivated Accountant seeking a role where you can work autonomously, contribute meaningfully and see the impact of your efforts, we invite you to join us.
