Intern Research Manager Unpaid Internship Directly Italy is a new startup. We are developing an online trade show that connects Italian food and drinks suppliers with buyers worldwide. Our platform allows suppliers to customise their stands with their brand colours, whilst allowing buyers to view these products, discuss and close deals via video chat or email. Our mission is to really remove the inconvenience and costs of attending traditional trade fairs. We are due to launch in late February and have a great opportunity for an intern Research Manager. You will be working primarily with the leadership team to help drive our go-to-market strategy. The successful candidate must be a commercially aware, motivated and self-starter graduate. The position responsibilities include: - Research Manager to help with various research and operational projects (this would involve profiling sellers on the platform and targeting appropriate buyers). - Helping to test and check the platform for quality assurance. Preparing a user manual on how to use the platform - Other various projects to support the launch of Directly Italy. The candidate will be joining the company at an exciting time of growth and will be involved in a variety of projects. We are looking for the following skills and capabilities: - Ability to take guidance, work without detailed supervision but at the same time be a great team player. - Inquisitive and generating creative ideas. - A problem solving-mindset - Any previous experience in product and website development would be an advantage but is not essential. - A preference for proficient excel, word, PowerPoint/Gsuite skills - The position is home-based.
