Description / BackgroundFresh Coffee Co is a Coffee and Sandwich shop based in Canley a suburb of Coventry. It is located within 2 miles of War Memorial Park and the University of Warwick and close proximity to a student communityOur passion is to provide great tasting coffee, homemade cakes and made to order sandwiches on site. We are looking for an intern who is motivated, enthusiastic with great customer service skills. In return you will gain hands on experience of the day to day tasks of running a café. On the job training will be provided and continual guidance from the manager for the duration of the internshipResponsibilitiesCarrying out the daily tasks of the café from opening tasks to end of the day tasksProvide a friendly and timely customer serviceManage multiple customer orders Stock ManagementDaily recording of mandatory checks to ensure compliance Ensure hygiene and tidiness of the food preparation area Qualifications Key Skills & QualitiesHigh level of organisationAbility to work independently and effectively Great customer servicePrevious industry experience is desirable but not essentialQualificationsFood Safety and Hygiene and Food Allergen courses will be required from successful candidate and this will be arranged Applications should consist of a CV and a one page covering letter explaining why you would like to be an intern with Fresh Coffee Co. and what you would bring to the role
