Cognitive Technical Lead / Solution Architect – Job Description The Cognitive Technical Lead role will be a part of Digital Workplace Services Practice and will be focusing on Product & Technology development, Support, Service Transformation, and Service Improvements of Cognitive ChatBot Solutions in existing and new customers. Cognitive Technical Lead will build, deploy and support service evolution, transformation and automation by involving niche technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Classifiers/Processors, Cognitive Computing etc. Roles and Responsibilities The primary objectives of the Role are 1. Lead discovery workshops and technical discussions to evaluate customer requirements for building an intelligent virtual assistant that focuses on automation 2. Design and build chat bot architecture design and assist with decision-making 3. Work with customer to create a clear technical solution document for the proposed requirements 4. Create and manage detailed Architecture design of the solution with integration specifications 5. Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems delivering high-availability and performance. 6. Build conversational chat bots that meets customer specifications and requirements 7. Develop Rest-APIs to Northbound and Southbound integrations. Maintenance and support of integration components. 8. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. 9. Writing well designed, testable, efficient code 10. Identify inconsistencies in architecture and determine simpler and optimal programming solutions. 11. Work closely with Cognitive Engineering team members through the phases of use-case design, feasibility analysis, building the prototype as per design, implementation, deployment and support of the resulting use-cases. 12. Act as the Point of contact for Program/Project Manager, Customer, Delivery, Vendor and other Technical Platform support teams to ensure successful delivery of the Product as per design 13. Build and deliver cognitive solutions as part of Implementations, Proof of Concepts, demo’s, business case and other initiatives for the Customer accounts. Manage multiple projects simultaneously 14. Tune up design for maintainability, scalability and efficiency 15. Resolve and troubleshoot problems and complex issues. 16. Perform unit tests and fix bugs. 17. Plan, design, code and execute tests including user interfaces, business logic and data access, according to application need. 18. Assist Project Manager with project planning and estimates 19. Identify any scope changes to the approved design and address with relevant stakeholders to identify potential risk and plan to mitigate 20. Maintain expertise in the area of architecture, including industry trends, strategies, and Niche Products 21. Collaborate closely with colleagues in the wider Applications & Infrastructure teams to ensure effective cross team working 22. Translate vendor specifications into appropriate system designs, incorporating knowledge of current and future business requirements. Skills and Abilities ▪ Modern, object-oriented or functional programming experience ▪ Strong knowledge and development experience with Conversational AI platform Amelia ▪ Strong knowledge and experience in Java, Groovy, Spring framework, JavaScript, Node JS, REST/SOAP API Development, HMTL and CSS. ▪ Experience in building Chat bots using market leading bot platforms like Amelia, Watson Assistant, Dialog flow, Azure Cognitive services etc. ▪ Experience with Agile software development practices such as Lean Agile, Scrum ▪ Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit ▪ Excellent time management skills and ability to take responsibility for deliverables ▪ Ability to articulate the solutions in simple & clear language. ▪ Solution Focused mindset ▪ Ability to Organize and write supporting documents for products and solutions Minimum Education and Experience ▪ BCA, B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science ▪ 6+ yrs of relevant experience ▪ Fluent in English
