Description:
Cloud/Hosting Project Manager: • Delivering and managing the whole project life cycle - Planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project • Identity and manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) through to project completion • Manage the project in accordance with Project Methodology ensuring a seamless handover to Infra managed services • Identify and schedule internal/external resources to deliver the project, manage those resources within a matrix structure • Manage relationships, deliverables and project resources • Planning, effort estimations, status reporting and project tracking • Managing transformation projects. Experience in cloud migrations • Working with stakeholders like Security, Procurement, Finance, External vendors including Microsoft and Google to map dependencies and track deliverables • Work closely with Infra technology delivery lead per requirements and assist them on successful delivery of the programe/workstream activities Required Skills • Significant experience of delivery / project / programme / portfolio management in an agile, multi-disciplined and commercial environment, in roles across Business and IT. • Key experience working on cloud transformation programme • Strong stakeholder, negotiation and conflict management skills • Broad knowledge and experience of different delivery methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban • Good relationship management skills • Good delivery management experience in multi-functional projects • Good experience of managing external suppliers and vendors • Proven track record in the continued optimization of the project release schedule to support the frequent delivery of high-quality releases • Understand the value of agile artefacts and metrics (backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity, and task definition) • Excellent dependency management including risk and issue management • Good experience in using project management tools like MS Project planner, Atlassian JIRA,MS office excel, PowerPoint, word and Visio skills • General awareness of cloud migration and cloud hosting vendors Communication • Must be able to communicate effectively with other development team members, project members, managers and end users • Must be able to participate in the discussions within the team, communicating any issues that have a project-wide scope to the necessary level • Must be able to participate in a culture of ‘knowledge sharing’ with the development team • Sharing best practices with other support teams across DWS It would be desirable if you had: • Technical certifications or technical background based on your previous work experience Motivation • Must be self-motivated, setting a high level of professionalism and excellence
