Position: Events & Wine Tasting Intern Location: London, UK Company Overview: We are a leading events and wine tasting company based in London, UK. Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Events & Wine Tasting Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about wine and events, and wants to gain hands-on experience in the industry. The successful candidate will work closely with our events and wine tasting team, assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of events. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the planning and coordination of wine tasting events, including venue selection, menu planning, and guest list management - Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of event materials and services - Assist in the set-up and breakdown of events, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations - Greet and register guests upon arrival, and provide them with information about the event and wines being tasted - Assist in the pouring and serving of wines during events, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times - Engage with guests and answer any questions they may have about the wines being tasted - Assist in the promotion of events through social media and other marketing channels - Conduct research on new and upcoming wines to be featured at events - Assist in maintaining inventory and stock levels of wines and event materials - Provide general administrative support to the events and wine tasting team as needed Requirements: - Currently enrolled in a degree program in events management, hospitality, or a related field - Passion for wine and a basic understanding of wine tasting principles - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Ability to work well in a team and independently - Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms - Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends - Must be 18 years of age or older Benefits: - Hands-on experience in the events and wine industry - Opportunity to learn from experienced professionals - Exposure to a wide range of wines from around the world - Networking opportunities with industry professionals - Potential for future employment opportunities within the company If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for events and wine, we want to hear from you!
