Our tech stack includes a Python backend, a Couchbase database and a Quasar/Vue.js frontend.This role will report to the Head of Software and will be expected to be a technical expert and work closely with the Product Architect. There will also be a mentoring and teaching aspect to the role, for junior developers on the team. The role requires a person with a mature, pragmatic approach and the ability to produce creative solutions to difficult engineering problems.Required skills and experience5+ years development experience3+ years? experience with Web component frameworks (Quasar/Vue.js preferred)Expert understanding of REST-like API designExperience of source control systems (e.g. Git, Mercurial)Experience working within agile software development processesDesired skills and experienceExperience with Python, and/or C++Experience with document-oriented databases (e.g. CouchBase)Experience with Linux and containerisation or virtualisation technologies (e.g. Docker)Experience with Jenkins and Continuous IntegrationSome experience as a Senior DeveloperTelecommunications and/or networking knowledge
