Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are met. Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests. Training staff in excellent customer service practices. Recruiting, training, and supervising store staff. Creating work schedules and managing payroll. Motivating employees to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards. Monitoring budgets, expenses, and revenue. Analyzing sales data and trends to develop strategies for improvement. Setting and achieving sales targets. Ensuring the store complies with health and safety regulations. Adhering to food safety standards and guidelines. Managing compliance with alcohol regulations if the store sells wine. Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and distributors. Negotiating contracts and terms with vendors to ensure favorable pricing and productavailability.
