Description:
We are ideally looking for someone with recent modular experience working within the NHS Trust environment. We are a successful NHS modular construction partner who provide Healthcare Estates of the Future. We have a rare opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Project Manager who will be responsible for two large projects initially in the Shrewsbury area. You will be used to working at a strategic level and be confident in dealing with all stakeholders involved, whilst also being a hands-on peoples person within the construction team. Ideally, we are looking for an individual with recent modular experience working within the NHS Trust environment. Main Role Working closely with the Construction Team in forming strategic plans, Scope of Works and project programming. Communicate effectively with all parties to ensure the work is carried out on time and in budget. Ensure full delivery of the project following the pre-construction phase to full handover. Attend Client meeting as well as site meetings with appointed architects, contractors and key stakeholders to understand the necessary actions required, whilst being the onsite representative for the company throughout the process. In conjunction with commercial team collate costs, manage budget’s, and ensure projects are delivered as forecast. Oversee the internal fitout process working hand in hand with current suppliers and sub-contractors. Trouble-shoot site shortages / issues and resolve with minimum impact to programme and other live projects. Provide site reports and progress reports to the Head of Construction with regular updates on all site associated issues. Ensure clear lines of communication between the construction team, project team and operations team to ensure they are fully aware of the Project deliverables. Working with site managers to ensure all site works are undertaken to a gold standard, and undertake regular quality inspections. Identify areas for improvement to promote best work practice on-site.
