Role overview The ideal Podcast and Publication Outreach Intern will assist our team with bringing Emma Goldie in front of new audiences, both through speaking engagements on podcasts and written opportunities. To be considering this role you will be committed to personal development and interested in being part of a conscious team, providing service to its community through the creation of content and sharing of techniques to support soul evolution and life navigation mastery. Hours and days of work 6-10 hours/week One fixed team meeting/week Role Responsibilities The ideal Podcast Public Relations and Outreach Intern will have experience in content marketing for podcasts, YouTube, live streaming, and blogging. With your help and expertise, we will bring Emma Goldie to new heights through strategic partnerships and collaborations with other brands, publications, and influencers. **Primary duties include** As Podcast and Publication Outreach intern you will be responsible for: - Sourcing and booking Emma Goldie on relevant podcasts to increase her reach to her target audience. This will include conducting research on podcast hosts, and writing emails as part of the process of creating opportunities. - Reaching out to industry publications for thought leadership opportunities, this will include features in both print and virtual publications. - Making sure all info and handles are shared - Ensuring correct timetabling and sharing of each podcast appearance is added to the content calendar tagging any relevant parties - Proactively pitching new engagement ideas and opportunities to reach new customers and audiences - Measuring and reporting on outreach activity on a weekly basis Experience Skills and qualifications A successful Podcast and Publication Outreach Intern candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications necessary to perform their duties effectively, these include: - You are tech-savvy, self-starting, resourceful, entrepreneurial, endlessly curious, and highly ambitious - You have effective time management and organization skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a growth mindset - You are quick to learn new things and work with flexibility to respond to the changing needs of the business - You show up on time, pay attention to details, think on your feet, ask for help when you need it, and consistently demonstrate respect for others - Candidates for Podcast and Publication Outreach internships have a keen interest in marketing and using strategic approaches to support business growth and evolution.
