Synergi are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FMCG/Food company based in Wellingborough. This is your chance to join a company who have invested into their site to bring in the latest technology and automation!Based at their site in Wellingborough, the role will support the performance and efficiency of a site that operates on a 24/7 basis. The shift pattern for this position will be 4 on 4 off working both days and nights. Benefits include enhanced holiday entitlement and on site free parking. Key responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on all equipment on site Completing written reports on maintenance work carried out and identify future maintenance work Have an active role in team briefings and communication meetings Help with organisation of stores, always ensuring sufficient stocks of parts, and submitting any orders to the Engineering Manager Make suitable recommendations for continuous improvement Assist with the installation and development of new projects and equipment Skills/experience required: ONC/HNC or equivalent recognised apprenticeship in electrical and/or mechanical engineering Working knowledge of pneumatics Manufacturing/Production experience or experience in a similar role 2 years proven Mechanical/Electrical Engineering experience PLC Fault Finding Experience Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Excellent prioritisation and time management skills Effective communicator at all levels Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills Don't wait, apply today!
