The role We are now looking to recruit a Senior Financial Controller, integral to the country’s management team, based out of our offices in either Wallingford or Aberdeen. To be considered for this role you must be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant or Registered Auditor. Responsibilities will include ensuring that the actual reporting of the entity is correct and complete, all financial compliance activities are performed on time and with the right quality and the overseeing of the country’s overhead costs. Working collaboratively with the EUAF Europe and Africa finance team and the UK’s Business Controllers, you will have responsibility for a team of up to 2 direct reports. Other responsibilities will include cash flow and treasury, local monthly reporting, internal control framework, the standardisation of accounting processes and the timely completion of audit activities and ICS implementation. Who we’re looking for: ACCA qualified and/or Registered Auditor.Educated to Masters level or equivalent.Experience of general ledger accounting, financial control, and project accounting.Strong proven business acumen.Previous management experience.Ability to build strong relationships at senior level.Adheres strictly to compliance and regulations.
