Part Time Care Assistant (Days). The Oaks Care Home 8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm shifts mixed 3 days per week £11.61 per hour Excellent opportunity for a dedicated, hard-working individual interested in working at The Oaks Care Home, Sandstone Care Group’s purpose-built nursing and residential home in Newtown, Powys. This stunning 73-bedded luxury home opened its doors in January 2020 and offers its residents state-of-the-art facilities unrivalled in the area, to include a coffee shop / bistro, hair & nail salon, separate dining and lounge areas, activities room and landscaped gardens, whilst at the same time providing exceptional standards of care supported by the very latest care planning and nurse-call technology. We are recruiting a wide range of skill sets to enhance the care we give to our residents, and as a forward-thinking team with so many exciting things coming ahead, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic to be part of this ongoing journey. As a Care Assistant at our home, your role may involve: Undertaking any necessary training Supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and getting involved with daily activities Providing emotional support and companionship Supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focussed on their individual hobbies, preferences and abilities Maintaining high standards within the care home environment Working flexibly as part of a team to ensure our residents' needs are met Sandstone employees enjoy a range of benefits: Free uniform.
