Welder Fabricator, MIG Welder, Welder, Fabricator, Welding Jobs, Fabrication, MMA, heavy plant, MIGWorkshop Welder Location: Caldicot, Gwent Salary: Up to £40k + Excellent Benefits Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm 40 hours The Client: Our client is a privately owned mineral and aggregates contractor with extensive experience in the plant industry. The Role: As a Workshop Welder, you will report to the workshop manager and undertake repair and maintenance of heavy-duty quarrying equipment. Responsibilities: Maintain paperwork, including daily timesheets and job cards. Fabricate panels and maintain various equipment components. Preparing materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and grinding as required. Requirements: Previously worked as a Workshop Welder or in a similar role. Experience in maintaining heavy equipment used in quarrying, mining, or construction. Background in welding, including panel fabrication, and maintenance. Familiarity and/or understanding of quarrying sector with engineering certification in welding. NVQ qualification or experienced welder skilled in MIG, gas, and MMA. Technical competence in diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulics.
