Job Opportunity: Accountant for a Leading IFA Practice Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their dynamic finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in producing Self-Assessment tax returns for individuals and companies, Management Accounts, and other financial accounts procedures. Full training and study support will be provided, with the goal of becoming a Chartered Tax Adviser. Key Responsibilities: - Preparation of monthly management accounts- Statutory accounts- Self-assessment tax returns- Limited Company Tax Returns- Commission Reconciliation- Invoicing and Credit Control- Long lease property administration (preparing accounts, issuing maintenance and ground rent invoices)- Analyzing and reconciling expenses and receipts- Producing KPIs for the company and advisers- Producing documents/KPIs for regulatory returns- Providing treasurer services to local charities Requirements: The ideal candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience in dealing with Personal Tax. Additionally, candidates should possess the following qualities:- Highly organized with efficient time management and the ability to prioritize workloads- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team- Computer literate, with proficiency in Advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook- Strong attention to detail- Previous experience working with Xero is preferred but not essential How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their updated CV and a cover letter outlining their suitability for the role .
