Plumbing and Heating Engineer (Reactive Maintenance) - Coventry Area We are currently seeking an experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team, focusing on reactive maintenance work within the Coventry area. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional ready to handle a variety of maintenance tasks in domestic settings without the requirement for emergency call-outs. Key Details: Location : Coventry, West Midlands Salary : £40,000 to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience Start Date : ASAP Work Type : Full-time, Permanent Jobs per Day : Approximately 5-7 Role Overview: The selected candidate will be responsible for performing reactive maintenance work, addressing and resolving issues across a range of plumbing and heating systems in domestic properties. This position does not involve emergency call-out duties, allowing for a predictable and balanced work schedule. Responsibilities: Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs on plumbing and heating systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. Maintain accurate records of completed jobs and materials used. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues. Adhere to safety guidelines and company standards at all times. Requirements: Proven experience in plumbing and heating maintenance, with a strong background in domestic environments. Relevant qualifications and certifications in plumbing and heating engineering. Gas Safe registration is highly desirable. Full UK driving licence. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
