Compliance and Transport Operator

Are you ready for a challenge? Here at XPO, we're looking for a full:time, permanent Compliance and Transport Operator to join us on our AM shift for our ETEX contract based in Portbury, Bristol. Core hours are 10 00 : 18 00 but you'll need flexibility to cover other shifts. You'll be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and effective running of our transport function. Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary of up to GBP 30,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you'll do on a typical day: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: Review the service planner daily and consult with Operations Management to ensure that all vehicles and trailers have been planned for service in accordance with the service planner.: Ensure that all applicable updating to the service planner is undertaken daily and that changes to planned maintenance are communicated to Operations Management and the Compliance Manager.: Communicate with maintenance providers daily to ensure service paperwork is received in accordance with Company Policy, and any delays are reported for escalation to Operations Management.: Update the service planner and company fleet management software daily. : Collate all service and applicable paperwork and file in the vehicle files in line with Company Policy and legislative requirements.: Ensure all vehicle files are kept in order, and that all records over 15 months old are archived.: Ensure any outstanding defects are raised with Operations Management and the Compliance Manager. : Ensure that all driver absences are recorded in Tachomaster, to maintain correct working time calculations.: Undertake driver debriefs and process all associated paperwork, advising Operations Management of any issues requiring further action or resolution.: Process and file all debrief paperwork, ensuring POD's, Timesheets and Defects are passed to the appropriate Operations Management Team member for further processing. : Communicate as necessary with the Operations Managers, Transport Manager and Compliance Manager, on all matters that may affect fleet compliance. : Provide regular updates to the Compliance Manager with regards to all aspects of fleet compliance.: Provide support and cover for the Planner and Transport Operators as required: To undertake any other reasonable task as required.: To undertake any relevant training events in line with own personal development needs and business requirements What you need to succeed at XPO: stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: Demonstrable administration experience.: Previous planning experience in a fast:paced environment: Good communication skills: Able to work as part of a team: Excellent attention to detail Desirable stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: Experience in the use of fleet management software, i.e., Tachomaster, PARC: Experience with WTS XPO is a leading provider of cutting:edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
