Logistics People are recruiting on behalf of White Horse Bar and Restaurant, East Runton. Position: Kitchen Porters and Glass Collectors Location: White Horse Bar and Restaurant, East Runton, Cromer Working Hours: Full:time and part:time work available Pay rate: A GBP 11.50 p/hr : plus tips As a seasonal Kitchen Porter and Glass Collector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen during our busiest times. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Dishwashing: Operating commercial dishwashing equipment to ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitised efficiently.* Kitchen Maintenance: Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying bins, and cleaning work surfaces.* Assisting Kitchen Staff: Supporting chefs and cooks by completing basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables, chopping ingredients, and portioning food items.* Stock Management: Helping with the receiving, storage, and rotation of kitchen supplies, including dry goods, perishables, and cleaning supplies.* Compliance: Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards set by the restaurant and relevant regulatory agencies. Requirements: * Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.* Ability to work efficiently in a fast:paced environment.* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.* You must be 18 years or older for this position.
