Job Title: Finance Analyst Contract Type: Permanent Location: London Working style: Hybrid 50 home/office based Closing date: 22nd April 2024 Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has a fantastic opportunity as a Finance Analyst to join our Operations Team in London. Part of your responsibilities will be to own month end process from a costing perspective and working closely with the wider Finance Team. You will help ensure that the end:to:end accounts process is carried out on an accurate and timely basis and that the ledger and sub:ledgers contain accurate information which can be used by other members of Finance and the wider business. The Finance Operations Team ensures the month end close occurs on a timely basis and that the ledger and sub:ledgers contain accurate financial information ready for use by other teams within RLAM Finance and the wider business. About the role : Ensure the month end close occurs on a timely basis and that cost accruals, prepayments and all associated journals are accurate and complete.: Provide high quality insight and analysis to other teams within finance, for example monthly handover of cost figures to other teams within Finance.: Carry out balance sheet reconciliations.: Review rebate payments processed by outsourced suppliers.: Work closely with the Statutory Accounting Team to ensure the audit is managed effectively and all actions are closed in a timely manner. About you : Finance operations experience gained ideally within Financial Services, or Asset management industry (desirable).: Demonstratable experience of improving existing processes and developing new processes.: Strong Excel skills essential.: Experience of Oracle ledger would be an advantage.: Excellent communication skills.: Ability to work to tight deadlines, taking ownership and responsibility.
