Are you an experienced Production Supervisor with a background in Manufacturing, ideally from the Powder Coating industry ? Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity, to join an established, market leading business, at a brand new, state of the art manufacturing plant ? Job Title: Powder Coating Supervisor (Day Shift) Reports To: Production Manager Responsible for: Powder Coating Team Annual Salary: A GBP 38,000 p.a. Weekly Working Hours: 40 Annual Leave: 20 days increasing to 25, plus Birthdays taken as leave if it falls on a working day Company Information: With rigid core Company Values and a strong Group Vision. Part of a 6 year growth project, the role will be based within a new 6m, working with hi:tech systems designed to minimise any manual lifting, making processes flow seamless and enabling production of the highest quality products. Main Purpose of Role: To contribute to and manage the work of the Power Coating Team, to ensure quality of product and achievement of KPIs, whilst adhering to quality processes and Health and Safety protocols. Key Tasks: * Help lead the Team by example by promoting a safe, clean, and tidy working environment.* Ensure all NCRs are logged and preventative actions are put in place.* Report faults to the Production Supervisor and Maintenance Team.* Ensure all Team follow the Job Specification.* Help ensure that all outputs are Right First Time.* Carry out Toolbox Talks with the Powder Coating Team.* Liaise with other Team Leaders on the shift.* Support the Senior Management Team. KPI Measures: * Meeting / exceeding of production targets.* Health and Safety Statistics.* Quality statistics. Person Specification: * Powder Coating experience.* Basic planning and organisation skills.* Previous supervisory experience* Familiar with modern manufacturing processes.* Hardworking.* Flexible approach.* Quality:minded.* Detail: conscious.* Self:motivated.* Can do attitude.* Team:worker.
