Manual MachinistThe RoleYou will be working on manual machines for vertical or horizontal borers. This is a heavy machining environment, for a client that is looking to expand their workforce due to the volume of orders that they are bringing in.Manual MachinistMain ResponsibilitiesWorking on manual turning or milling and vertical/horizontal borersProducing batch workMeasure and record build tolerances, and ability to determine parts that require repairFill out job paperwork accurately documenting actions taken.Meet production and quality targets set on a daily basis.Carry out quality checks on products and record the information accurately.Observe Safe Working Procedure, H&S instructions and additional training while operating machinery or working on processes.Check emergency stops as per instructions and fill out the relevant paperwork.Raise any performance or H&S issues immediately with the cell leader or supervisor.Make sure that machinery and production areas are kept cleanManual MachinistThe CandidatesTime served is desirable if not extensive experienceStrong ability on manual turning or milling machinesDesirable experience with vertical or horizontal borersFlexible to work overtime Please contact Amy Laplace-McHugh at Winsearch UK for further details – amy.mchugh@winsearch.ukWinsearch acts as an employment agency for permanent staff.
