An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Laser Operator to join a well-established engineering business on a permanent basis, working 4 shifts Monday to Thursday, with an hourly rate upto £18.00 per hour along with regular overtime, ongoing training and development and free parking.An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Laser Operator to join a well-established engineering business on a permanent basis, working 4 shifts Monday to Thursday, with an hourly rate upto £18.00 per hour along with regular overtime, ongoing training and development and free parking.They specialise in providing a range of metal forming processes to meet their client’s needs, with state-of-the-art equipment, due to rapid growth they are looking for an experienced Laser Operator to build and strengthen the team.Laser Operator Duties: Setting and operating CNC Laser MachinesBatch work and one-off assignmentsAbility to understand technical drawings and apply technical informationInspecting and maintaining quality control before and after productionAssisting in other areas when required Laser Operator Experience: Experience of working in an engineering environment or similarAbility to read an interpret engineering drawingsOperating the CNC in a leading or assisting capacityKnowledge of a variety of steel alloy gradesExperience of driving a Counterbalance Fork Lift would be advantageous What is on offer to the Laser Operator: Paying up to £18.00 per dependant on experienceWorking Nights Monday to ThursdayRegular overtime available at uplifted ratesOngoing in-house trainingPermanent opportunity “The successful candidate will easily be able to commute to this Batley based business from surrounding towns & cities including Birstall, Dewsbury, Cleckheaton, Brighouse and Huddersfield.”For immediate consideration for the Laser Operator position please “click apply” or contact Alison Bell at E3 Recruitment on 01484 XXXXXX.
