As an assistant cook at our home, your role may involve: Undertaking any necessary training Supporting the Chef/Cook and the rest of the catering team with providing fresh, home-cooked meals from scratch to our residents Maintaining a hygienic and compliant working environment Delivering the highest possible culinary standards to residents by providing nutritious, well-balanced and appetising meals from a clean, safe and hygienic environment Submitting food orders Supporting with all the day to day aspects of the catering operation Compliance with quality and safety standards Sandstone employees enjoy a range of benefits: Free uniform. What are we looking for? Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment. A passion for producing fresh, home cooked food, from scratch to the highest standards. Friendly and enthusiastic disposition, ability to integrate well with others. Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads.
