This is a days-based position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday.Our client a leading Chemicals Manufacturing Business are currently looking to recruit an Apprentice Trained Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their Electrical Engineering Team. This is a days-based position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities for the position will include: Electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial manufacturing environmentElectrical plant installation and modificationStatutory inspectionsThe use of Computerised Maintenance Management SystemsUse and interpret equipment drawings, manuals and other technical information to assist with all worksWork in accordance with the company safe systems of work and permit to work systems Electrical Maintenance Technician – Requirements Educated to a minimum City & Guilds level 3 or similar in a practical Electrical disciplineIdeally hold a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulation would be beneficialCompEx qualification would be extremely beneficial Ex01-04 & Ex05-06Previous experience of working within a COMAH registered facility would be highly desirableStrong understanding of ATEX requirements would be beneficial This is an excellent opportunity to join an established manufacturing business with the opportunity for career development via both internal and external training.PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, we are only able to accept applications for this role from candidates currently residing in the UK.
