Youre an experienced Air Compressor Service Engineer aspiring to become a Service Manager. With your expertise in Air Compressors, you now want to use your excellent people skills to share your knowledge with the wider team and help them develop. Based in High Wycombe, youll be servicing at our customers sites within a 60 mile radius of our office. WHY SHOULD I APPLY?A Youre already in our sector, but 95 of our customers are within 60 miles of our office resulting in less travelA Realistic opportunities to manage the service teamA Youll be incentivised to pass leads onto our sales team JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer : Air Compressors, Industrial, Engineering Were experts in Air Compressors, and because you are too, youll mostly be out in the field supporting our customers. Whether this is planned preventative maintenance (PPM), breakdowns or installations, youll use your expertise to fault find, carry out leak detection projects and complete energy saving surveys. Youll share your wealth of knowledge with our Junior Engineers and aid their development into fully fledged Service Engineers. When you arent on the road, youll be based in our workshop recommissioning, stripping down and working on our Air Compressors. As our Service Engineer youll:A Utilise both your mechanical and electrical skills to fulfil our customers needsA Travel to our customers sites within the territory : roughly with 60 miles of our officeA Take an active lead mentoring our Junior Engineers PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer : Air Compressors, Industrial, Engineering You already have experience within the Air Compressor market, so youre able to get out on the road in no time and youll be keen to impart your knowledge to the Service Team. Youll be the face of our company, constantly providing excellent customer service so you must be a good people person. Youll also have:A A rounded technical background covering mechanical and electrical. Whether you have recognised qualifications or youre qualified by experience, we dont mindA Aspirations to become a manager within our Service teamA Great communications skills to build relationships with your colleague and customers Wed particularly welcome any applications with F:Gas experience or certification.
