We are looking to speak to individuals to work at a state of the art facility. 30 days annual leave, generous pension scheme, overtime paid at premium rates and with genuine opportunities for progression. An excellent opportunity to join an established organisation through a period of Growth. Plate Roller Benefits: Salary – hourly overtime paid at x1.5Starting hourly rate up to £14.50 per hour5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am – 16:15pm22 days holiday + statutory +1 day for every 5 years of serviceCompany perks scheme4 company pension contributions Responsibilities of the plate roller: Set up and adjust manual rolling machines according to specifications.Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine proper dimensions and tolerancesFeed materials into the machine and monitor the rolling process.Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.Perform routine maintenance on the rolling machines.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. Key skills required for Plate roller: Previous plate roller experience would be a distinct advantage although people from an industrial machining background will be considered. Training can and will be provided.Experience with vessels would be desirableAbility to use automated machinery and hand tools.Ability to read and follow technical drawings.Work to tight tolerancesCrane operation experience The plate roller position is based in Keighley and is easily accessible from towns in surrounding areas such as Bradford, Halifax, Leeds and Skipton To apply for the position of Plate Roller, please click “Apply Now” and attach a copy of your CV.
