Quality Engineer I (Farnborough, UK)in GAC Farnborough Unique Skills: . Education and Experience RequirementsBachelors Degree in a related curriculum preferred. Entry level position. Position Purpose: Under moderate supervision, having been adequately trained, perform all tasks in area of responsibility in a timely and efficient manner. Support aircraft inspection/quality/certification system requirements to ensure all aspects of the quality system requirements are compliant to in:service limitations for Repair Station activities. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: : Ensure compliance to all regulatory and Quality System Requirements to include Part 145, Part M, Part 21 and ISO . : Provide technical guidance and direction to supported organizations and/or administrative personnel. . : Manage entry of data contained within the electronic systems to assure accurate status reporting of supplier surveys, product/process audits, aircraft status or quality system performance. : Validate compliance of required. corrective action implementation for timeliness and effectiveness. : Develop and maintain specific work instructions for functions performed within the group. : Monitor and report on the inspection and quality system performance. Additional Functions: : Ensure Quality policies are practiced. Make recommendations and implement procedures to improve Quality. . : Work with other departments as needed to meet quality compliance of processes. . Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: : Preferred knowledge of Quality Management Control System requirements. : Computer literate; capable of working within the various software applications utilized throughout the corporation. : Preferred knowledge of Quality Systems, Quality Control, Blueprints, Quality Documentation and applicable documentation. : Preferred specific experience working with Quality Systems/Quality Control.
