Ocean Import Operator : Cannock

Description:
As an Ocean Import Operator you will be predominantly Ocean biased, with experience in both exports and imports, to receive bookings from customs and agents alike, to complete all import / export requirements including customs clearance, along with all other processes involved. Location: Cannock Hours of work: 8.30am : 5.00pm Monday to Friday (some flexibility required) Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Key Responsibilities: * Predominantly ocean import / export role : air knowledge also advantageous.* Receiving bookings from customers.* Raising files within the software system.* Preparation of collection notes and booking confirmations* Liaising with shipping lines and carriers.* Checking vessel departure dates.* Maintaining customer spreadsheets where required.* Ensuring correct documentation is presented and obtained.* Raising invoices to customers and agents.* File queries.
