Main Purpose of Position: Manage and improve the Can Manufacturing Processes and related support functions for the manufacture of Aluminium Beverage Containers at the Wrexham facility. Key Responsibilities: : To ensure the safe running and condition of the Wrexham site.: To develop maintenance plans and techniques to improve the uptime, repeatability and reduce the cost of the can manufacturing process.: To ensure that all relevant engineering standards, procedures, and key process documents are up to date.: Implementation of new CMMS system in conjunction with central team.: To control spend to budget and to develop targets. (to include the use of benchmarking): To assist with size changes and maintenance activities.: To manage a team of direct reports.: To develop a succession plan.: To manage can manufacturing projects and assist with plant projects.: To manage continuous improvement projects.: Manage individual KPIs.: Lead RCA activities to reduce plant downtimes.: Manage Overhaul planning and critical spares. Professional Requirements: : Qualifications: Time:serviced, HNC or equivalent : Languages:English is essential (other languages a plus) : Computer Skills:Word, Excel, Auto:cad Previous Job / Project Experience: 3 to 5 years' experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable. An understanding of the can manufacturing process and automated high:speed production machinery is essential Previous experience of managaging people is essential Scope Of Position: Budgets Responsible for: Maintenance Budget : Direct Areas by Machine Type Contacts within BPE: Senior Management / Supervisory team, Production, Engineering / Bonn Technical Center
