Description Overview 12 month fixed term contract. In this role you will co:ordinate the functions of the Analytical Support Group in providing all ancillary duties necessary to ensure the successful introduction of new products and methods to support the continued growth of the Braunton Site.In addition, you will also co:ordinate all tasks associated with the lifecycle review of analytical methods to ensure we maintain compliance and our right to operate. Scope of the Role :Responsible to the Technical Manager for maintenance of the testing schedule in line with project plans. Supervise, co:ordinate and direct the Analytical Support Analysts.:Deputise in the absence of the Technical Manager. Coach, mentor, develop and appraise other team members.:Engage in the development, validation, transfer and troubleshooting of analytical test methods including the generation of protocols and reports to support the introduction of new products.:Direct and participate in the regular analysis of samples from Trial/Optimisation and Validation batches, final peer review of results and maintain hard:copy and electronic versions of these results.:Direct and participate in the analysis of non:routine samples; Customer Complaints and other miscellaneous testing requests. Final peer review and maintain data/results.:Undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required from time to time in order to support the Perrigo business.:Attend project meetings, as required, and ensure all actions related to analytical testing are completed; including review of incoming specifications and methods prior to transfer or validation activities. Experience Required :Ideally BSc or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline.:Consideration will be given to candidates who meet all other requirements and possess a wealth of highly pertinent experience, e.g. cGMP, cGLP in a pharmaceutical context.
