What will I be doing? : Working in a team of 15 reporting to the Financial Controller: Support the Finance team with month:end and year:end tasks including accruals, prepayments, ledger maintenance and balance sheet reconciliations ensuring timely and accurate management accounts : Prepare and enter allocated month end journals.: Reconcile overhead costs versus budget/forecast: Complete allocated tasks as part of month end close processes: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations : Analysing P and L movements against the budget and prior months to provide commentary around variances.: Prepare Quarterly VAT returns : Manage Fixed Asset register and transition from manual entries to system generated register.: Creation of adhoc payment journals and remittances: Bank Reconciliation: Assist with cashflow forecasting.stylemargin:bottom:11.0px:: Staff Corporate credit card management and processing of expense claims.: Various other ad:hoc accounting duties as required.: Support the team with the quarterly balance sheet review.
