We are seeking a patient, caring Support Worker to look after a 50:year:old female living with a brain injury. The roleincludes personal care and manual handling and supporting her in her day:to:day life. We are searching for a Support Worker who shares our belief that disability is not a barrier and doesn't have to stop anyone from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences. Initially, this is a temporary rolewith the opportunity to be employed permanently after an initial trial period. Please note that previous experience in complex care and a driver's license is required for this role. Client and Role: : Supporting the client at her own home. : The client lives with a brain injury, uses an electric wheelchair and is partially verbal. : She needs support with personal care, toileting, administering medication and being taken to activities and appointments. Successful Applicant: : Must have previous experience with clients living with brain injury and requiring complex care. : Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, weekends). : Must have a full valid driver's license to take the client to appointments.
