Job Title: Quality Manager Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am:5.00pm/ 38.75 hrs Salary: GBP 50,000 + Company Vehicle Benefits: Hybrid working, Pension: 6 employer, 5 employee, 33 days holiday (including statutory), death in service 3x annual salary, company sick pay scheme, free onsite parking Location: Mobile : travel required between sites: Elland, Nottingham and Gloucester, hybrid (3 days office and 2 days home) Quality Manager Opportunity As the Quality Manager, your primary responsibility is to establish and maintain quality standards for both products and services. This involves developing critical metrics to assess supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards across all company sites, and advising senior management on the implementation of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO9001 standards. Additionally, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities of the Quality Manager : Implementing and managing the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality Management System. : Collaborating with other group companies to share best practices and align quality standards. : Engaging with regulatory authorities and leading quality inspections and audits. : Driving continuous improvement efforts and supporting compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. : Establishing and enhancing a quality function to foster continuous improvement internally and with supply partners. : Auditing and refining quality control processes and ensuring consistency across departments. : Standardizing internal quality practices, resolving issues, and managing corrective actions. : Developing and maintaining a comprehensive quality dashboard with key performance indicators (KPIs). : Communicating with key partners and managing improvement activities effectively. : Providing training and guidance to internal auditors to uphold a culture of quality excellence. : Managing all QMS documentation and overseeing external and internal quality assurance audits. : Participating in groupwide projects and collaborating with various departments. Quality Manager experience/skills Required: : Strong written and verbal communication skills. : Proficiency in presentation techniques. : Mechanical or electrical engineering background, preferably with vehicle:based systems knowledge. : Demonstrated experience in implementing ISO systems. : In:depth understanding of quality management processes, particularly ISO9001. : Familiarity with relevant quality regulations and compliance requirements at local, national, and international levels. : Knowledge of quality regulations and standards pertaining to special vehicles. : Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. : Full UK driving license. : Degree or qualification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO9001). : Experience in Quality Management compliance and management, with specific expertise in UK regulations and standards.
