We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of a Project Manager , on a 3- month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £400.00 per Day Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, managing, co-ordinating and reporting on activities to implement one or more projects from proposal to initiation to delivery including the transition into business-as-usual. Ensuring that projects are managed to realise business benefits. Managing the IT element of business wide projects. Managing project budgets in accordance with the Councils financial procedures and standing orders. Ensuring that projects are delivered to scope, within budget and to agreed timeframes, prioritising the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability. Qualifications: Awareness of the issues facing local government, particularly in relation to service redesign, savings and service delivery Knowledge of transformation, service redesign, process mapping, business analysis and service improvement models. Extensive experience in managing multiple IT projects within a large organisation Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
