Senior Proposal EngineerHavant, Portsmouth Full-time, Permanent Hybrid WorkingSenior Sales Proposal Engineer Havant, Portsmouth Full-time, Permanent Hybrid Working We are working with a internationally renowned manufacturing company operating in the marine, energy and defence sector who are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Proposal Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing enquiries from sales teams to scope and deliver proposals for our naval customers. Role Responsibilities Manage enquiries from sales teams to identify, scope and deliver profitable proposals for equipment solutions for naval customers.Working with other internal functions, including Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain, to develop robust and timely solutions to meet customer requirements.Creating quotations and high-quality sales proposals for Equipment solutions, including cost models, commercial propositions, margin calculations and technical scope.Review of proposed Terms & Conditions, seeking legal advice as required.Securing Management approval for all proposals, including preparation and presentation of opportunities to senior management.Work within project or bid teams to provide required commercial support to the larger, more complex opportunities. Person Specification Hold a technical background with education in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Technical Business Administration or similar.Understanding of contracts, the commercial and operational aspects that need consideration.Experience using SAP, Salesforce advantageous.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word & Excel. Further Information Due to the nature of the work undertaken, the selected candidate will be required to undergo full SC Clearance.
