Working remotely covering Birmingham – Manchester predominantly, you'll play a crucial role in meeting volume and profit targets while aligning with the company’s goals.Overview:To manage and develop the business within the Northern Territory, meeting volume and profit targets in line with an agreed business development plan, and in line with the overall strategy of the company in relation to product portfolio types and vertical market.Key Responsibilities for the Territory Account Manager: Conduct customer visits and engage with key opinion leaders to promote awareness and sales of the product rangeProvide market feedback on customer and competitor activity to shape strategic direction and improve profitabilityCollaborate with suppliers to identify new product opportunities and contribute to supply agreementsManage annual price rises and renewals while maximizing margins and maintaining customer satisfactionAnalyse historic data and forecast sales pipeline using CRM system to identify opportunities and address shortfallsSubmit monthly reports on territory sales results, progress against development plan, and CRM pipeline analysisCollaborate with sales & marketing teams to achieve company-wide business objective Specific Sales Responsibilities: Generate sales leads to meet targets, focusing on vertical market and product mix requirementsManage all sales leads and opportunities through CRM system, ensuring maximum conversion to profitable salesEnsure prompt registration of leads with suppliers and follow up on opportunities with winning proposalsVisit customers throughout the territory, understanding requirements, presenting proposals, and closing salesManage post-sales activity to build repeat business and positive recommendationsInvest in building product knowledge and monitor market conditions to stay competitiveCollaborate with internal and external sales teams to deliver territory sales budgetWork with sales & marketing teams to achieve business objectives Experience, attributes, and skills required for the Territory Account Manager: Life science degreeProven sales ability in a technical/scientific/laboratoryA consultative approach with strong communication and relationship-building skillsAble to influence across all levels of the organizationTenacity and a strong desire to make a differenceTeam player, driven, positive personalityWillingness to travel as needed to meet business requirements What’s in it for you Work alongside a friendly team of talented individuals who enjoy their workReceive a comprehensive induction plan, ensuring a thorough understanding of systems, processes, and productsBenefit from regular catch-ups with your manager, focused on continuous training and developmentReceive a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, accompanied by a bonus equivalent to 25 of the base salary paid quarterlyBe provided with a company car or allowance, as well as all necessary tools to carry out your role effectivelyEnjoy a generous holiday entitlement of 25 days per annum plus Christmas closure and 8 bank holidays
