FAMILIES AND COUPLES ONLY - NO PETS - NO SMOKING Menagwins Court is a modern development of properties set within a courtyard layout. Designed in the local Cornish style and constructed and finished to an extremely high specification with Cornish stone walls and natural slate roofs. The development has been built to take advantage of the fantastic views, over rolling countryside to the sea. Menagwins Court is located in the small village of Gorran, which offers a public house, store/sub post office and beautiful Norman church. Gorran Haven is just 1 mi away and provides a larger selection of amenities, a harbour and beach. The safe and sandy beach of Caerhayes with its castle, still maintained as a private home, is just four miles away and the attractive harbour village of Mevagissey with numerous restaurants and pubs is just 6½ miles away. St Austell, the nearest large town is some ten miles distant and provides a much larger range of shops, supermarkets, ten pin bowling, cinema and leisure centre. There are outstanding stretches of coastal paths and inland areas of beauty. Cornwall is a beautiful place to explore at any time of the year, especially in the Spring with country lanes abundant in colourful wild flowers and the National Trust and other large gardens are at their best with magnificent magnolias, rhododendrons and camellias. The Lost Gardens of Heligan is just 4mis away and the world famous Eden Project with its gigantic biomes offering a fascinating insight into the world of plant life is 14 mis away. The Cottage is furnished to a high standard and has under floor heating and double glazing throughout. On the ground floor the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with hob and oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine/tumble drier and dining area. There is a cloakroom with toilet and washbasin. The fully furnished lounge has a freeview tv with DVD player aNd a CD/radio. From the lounge French doors lead onto the patio area with garden furniture and the communal courtyard with distant sea views across fields. On the 1st floor the cottage there is 1 bedroom with a double bed and a 2nd bedroom with twin beds. Each bedroom is furnished and includes a radio alarm clock and hair dryer. All pillows, duvets, bed linen and towels are provided. The bathroom is finished to a high standard with toilet, bath, separate shower and wash basin. Pets are not allowed into any of the cottages and we also request no smoking inside the building. Unlimited WiFi is available at additional cost, payable during your stay. There is parking for 1 car per cottage, with parking for a 2nd car by arrangement. A storage shed for bikes is also available by prior arrangement. CONDITIONS OF RESERVATION An application is made and accepted subject to the following conditions: 1. Lettings are deemed to commence at 2.30 pm on the day of arrival and cease at 10.00am on the day of departure. Latest time of arrival is 10 pm. 2. The Management reserve the right to decline acceptance or to expel any visitors for conduct detrimental to the property or comfort of other visitors. 3. Accommodation may not be occupied by more persons than berths provided. Cots (available on hire) may be used in lieu of 1 berth. 4. The Company is relieved from liability for accidents to visitors and any loss or damage to their property including motor vehicles. 5. The Company is relieved from liability should the accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond its control, in which case the money paid will be refunded in full. 6. It is regretted that bookings are only accepted for couples, family groups or individuals. 7. We trust that when you leave your accommodation it will be left in the condition in which you should wish to find it – clean and tidy. 8. A condition of booking now is that we receive payment in full BT PayPal or credit/debit card 9. All holiday bookings cancelled less than six weeks before your holiday dates must be paid for if the proprietors are unable to re-let. 10. May we point out that a booking is a contract and in the event of cancellation no monies can be refunded. 11. Dogs and other pets are not permitted in any accommodation. 12. The Proprietors reserve the right to refuse or refund any booking. 13. We request that you refrain from smoking in all accommodation. 14. For the general comfort of all no undue noise will be tolerated between 10 pm and 8.30 am. 15. For the purpose of maintenance etc the proprietors reserve the right (even in the absence of the occupants) to enter the accommodation any time as necessary.
